La Lune Pivots into Vintage Watches

There is a particular thrill in the one that got away—and, occasionally, you get a chance to try again. With the launch of Vintage Finds, La Lune leans fully into that collector’s instinct, offering a tightly edited selection of one-of-a-kind objects that reward a sharp eye and a sense of curiosity. We introduced Tinywatches to La Lune in a 2024 feature focusing on founder Martine Ilana’s tiny watch revival. Those familiar with the brand will know this next step is a natural widening of scope. Where the brand’s core collection reinterprets the past, Vintage Finds brings it forward — unaltered, idiosyncratic, and irreproducible.

The offering ranges across watches, jewelry, and small design objects, all sourced globally and presented without the safety net of repetition: once something is gone, it is gone. That scarcity is not a marketing tactic so much as a philosophy. Ilana’s approach privileges instinct over trend, seeking out pieces defined by patina, craftsmanship, and what she describes as “feeling”—an elusive but immediately recognizable quality.

Launched to coincide with Earth Month, Vintage Finds also gestures toward a quieter kind of sustainability: not the rhetoric of newness, but the continuation of objects already made. In that sense, it feels less like a shop than a proposition—one that asks what it means to collect with intention, and to recognize value not in rarity alone, but in resonance.
